The objective of disclosure statements are to provide a broad and reasonably up-to-date view of licensed financial institution. It includes information on the institutions key financial conditions, which are the means by which the Reserve Bank applies prudential requirements such as minimum capital requirements for banks. The disclosure statement for the end of year contains comprehensive information and only licensed banks,credit institutions and insurance companies are required to publish their disclosure statements after each financial year.
