In response to last evening’s television news on the absence of Mr. Sada Reddy Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the Bank wishes to confirm that Mr. Reddy had taken leave without pay on his own accord to attend to personal matters.
Mr. Reddy resumes duties on 6 April 2009.
