Bank Residence

In light of the number of enquiries from the media regarding the recent advertisement for tender by the real estate agents Harcourts, the Reserve Bank issues the following statement:
“The Board of the Bank decided to either rent or sell the Bank’s residence for the Governor because the new Governor, Mr Sada Reddy, decided to stay in his own private residence.
The tenders closed on 23 June 2009 and the Bank is now in the process of evaluating and awarding the tender.”
